I’ll be at the Longmeadow Farmers Market this Thursday, June 18th from 12:00-6:00 PM. I’ll have lots honey local raw and infused honey, Elderberry Syrup, mineral tea and other bee related items. Hope to see you there there.

This is one of my hives. My bees are bearding. Bearding is a term referring to bees accumulating at the front of the hive, in a beard-like shape. Bees do this to make room inside the hive for added ventilation on a hot and humid day. Both the temperature and humidity within the hive are kept to a precise percentage, for both the brood (they require temperatures 90-97F to form properly) and ambient humidity for nectar to be evaporated to honey. ☺️

Hi friends. For the rest of the summer you will find me in Longmeadow on Thursdays from noon to 6pm at the Farmers Market at the Longmeadow Shops.

On Saturdays, I’ll be at the East Longmeadow Farmers Market from 9am to 1pm at The Depot on Maple street.

The Farmstand will continue to be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm. It is self serve and always filled with my honey, syrup, bread and tea. It’s at 157 Somers Road. ☺️

I will continue to offer porch pick up for you when you order from my app. or just want to shoot me a message.

I appreciate your ongoing support of my little business and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

BTW. I am fully licensed and insured as a residential/cottage kitchen/farmer. Who would have ever thought that. ☺️

More than 40 students from the Mountainview School Garden Club learned about honey bees and how they pollinate our gardens. I had so much fun answering their amazing questions and greatly appreciate the teachers who care enough about our bees 🐝 to help the kids understand their value. Thank you for the opportunity.
