My first ride on Nyssa 😍
A lot can be said about just focusing on emotional regulation and trust. I thought getting ill this summer and barely handling Nyssa would set us way back- if anything it actually helped us build a solid relationship that has allowed me to now ask quite a bit from her. I swear though she has to be learning from watching Styx
Grateful the person before me put the time in to give her a solid foundation. I stand by an expression I heard as a child that the best gift you can give a horse is to teach them good manners.
Im no trainer, but Im confident and dumb enough to get her started 😂 Honestly, cant be doing too badly if Nyssa never wants to go back in the paddock after we work together ☺️
