1 cup packed brown sugar

4 tablespoons lemon juice

4 tablespoons apple c***r vinegar

2 teaspoons fresh ginger

3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Put everything in a pot and cook it until it has darkened in color and reduced to a nice jammy consistency (about 2 to 4 hours). Stir occasionally.

I know we’ve been a bit MIA since I broke my ankle, but I’m almost healed and working on a tomato jam recipe that will help you use up all those tomatoes you have coming on right now.

Tomato jam is a real crowd pleaser and an excellent addition to your charcuterie boards. It’s also a great way to elevate your burgers, BLTs, pizza and other favorite recipes. Really, the possibilities are endless!

Check back this weekend for the recipe.
