🌪️ OKAY MOTHER NATURE… WE NEED TO HAVE A CHAT. 😂

I’ll be reaching out to everyone with orders scheduled for Thursday, October 8th through Saturday, October 10th to make sure Mother Nature hasn’t RSVP’d “NO” to your plans. 🙃🌪

With the possibility of the storm, I’ll be waiving my normal non-refundable deposit policy ONLY for orders scheduled October 8th–10th. If you need to cancel because your plans have changed, I completely understand! 🩷

NOW… onto more important matters.

Publix doesn’t make Hurricane Party cakes anymore.

Thankfully, I have no such policy. 💀🎂

If you’re gonna be sitting at home refreshing the weather radar, watching Jim Cantore’s location like it’s the NFL draft, and asking “has it shifted yet?” every 12 minutes… you might as well have cake. 😂🌪

So yes, Hurricane Party cakes are VERY much available over here. 🤣

Get your water. Charge your phones. Bring in the patio furniture.

And don’t forget the buttercream. 🫡🎂🌪

Stay safe, y’all! 🩷

😂🧁 180 CUPCAKES, 67 YEARS & A WHOLE LOTTA “6️⃣…7️⃣”! 🧁😂

If you teach 6th and 7th grade, you already know what I mean. 😂

These kids are saying “6…7” ALL. THE. TIME. So when this teacher turned 67, it was basically the easiest birthday theme ever! 🤣

And because we’re talking about a teacher who spends her days with 6th and 7th graders, 180 cupcakes felt completely appropriate. 😉🧁

A whole lot of 6️⃣…7️⃣, a whole lot of cupcakes, and one VERY fun 67th birthday celebration! 🎉

Thank you for letting Island Girl Sweets be part of the fun! 🏝️💗

Because apparently 67 isn’t just an age anymore… it’s a whole personality. 😂

🛻💨 THE CAKE MAY GET CRUSHED… BUT THE FUN DOESN’T HAVE TO! 🏁💥

This monster truck birthday cake was built for a little one who clearly knows that the bigger the trucks, the better! 😂

Chocolate cake, cookie “dirt,” muddy green trails, and some seriously cool monster trucks ready to tear up the track! 🛻💚

But here’s what I really love about this setup…

When the last piece of cake is gone, the trucks keep rolling! 🎂➡️🛻💨

Because the cake might be the dessert, but those trucks can keep racing, crashing, jumping and entertaining long after the plates are empty.

The cake ends. The party doesn’t. 🏁🎉

Made with lots of love (and probably a little too much cookie dirt 😉) by Island Girl Sweets 💚

🛻💥🏁
