Hi everyone, I am sad to announce that Garden of Eaton Farms is no longer offering any lessons or trail riding. Kelly is graduating this December and moving away. Thank you everyone for all the support and memories throughout the years!

Good news, summer riding lessons will be starting soon! I will be completely done with classes and finals for the semester on April 29 and will be starting lessons the following week, May 5-9. For anyone who wants to take lessons the times available are listed below. I will be taking weekly and bi-monthly students. Please email or text (765-716-1094) which day and time you prefer. Remember, this is on a first come, first serve basis so the sooner you let me know your time the better chance you have of getting it. Hope you are enjoying the arrival or spring, I know all of us at the farm are!

We are so sad that camp is all over! Luckily we will still be having riding lessons which will start September 2. Lessons will be on a first come first serve basis as Kelly will only have so many available spots since she has a heavy work load. We will be sending out an email to our mailing list with the spots available the last week in August and we will post the same schedule here at the same time. If you did not come to camp, or you haven't emailed me in the last year you are most likely not on the list. To put your name on the mailing list email me at [email protected] with the message "put me on the riding list" and I will add your email!

Today I came into the barn and found that the arena had flooded and that it was still raining so we were having a hard time figuring out how we would ride. Luckily the kids were great and patient and we all got to ride today once we figured it all out. Life is much simpler when you have great kids and great horses.

First day of camp was a total success! We couldn't ask for a better group of kids, they are just all so wonderful! I just know this week is going to go by so fast!

We are happy to announce that we will have camp t-shirts for sale this year! Shirts can be bought in Lime Shock or Tropic Blue and will feature the camp logo on the front and the saying "Keep Calm and Canter On" on the back with a running horse. We just submitted an order so we will have some sizes and colors available but we will also have an order form available at the end of camp show. Shirts should be priced between $15-$20, but we will know more when we get the shipment in!

We are all full for June! With just 11 days to go until camp we at the farm are working to pull everything together, but we cannot wait to see everyone at 9am on June 10!

Ok, so due to some conflicts we will be moving our July camp to the last full week in July. That's the 21-26 for counselors and the 22-26 for campers. Sorry to change to dates but this was the only way.

Some big changes going on here the next couple of months! First off we are redesigning the website and adding some cool new features such as "educational" pages and more info about us and what we do. We are also currently designing a new logo for the farm, which will look really cool. Possible other fun items to follow, but what I really wanted to get out there is our new Counselor Program. We have decided that we would like to open up the opportunity for teens to come learn how to be great counselors at the farm. Camp Counselors need to be 16+ but Junior Counselors can start at age 12! We are putting the final touches on the program but if you know of anyone who would want to apply let us know!

The dates for two of our camps have arrived! We will be having camp June 10-14 and July 8-12. Sign-ups are not up yet as we do a revamp of the web system but be thinking of which camps you might want to have your kids attend. Rates, number of available spots, and the sign-up form to follow soon!

OK so for those of you wanting to know when Kelly will be offering lessons this spring the tentative times are Monday @ 6:30, none on Tuesday, Wednesday @ 4:30-, Thursday 4:30-, and Friday 4:30-. Will also offer some weekend lessons but Kelly can't promise anything on those since she might be working part time this semester as well as taking 15 credit hours and working at the barn.

Dollar and I went to a race today, our first in over 2 years, and placed 2nd in the 3rd Division! Had a great day with a great horse.

Had a great time with all the girls that came out for Thanksgiving Horse Camp. Luckily, the weather was perfect and we all even got to go on our very own trail ride. I was thankful this year for each and every girl that has been involved. You girls are so wonderful and never fail to make me smile. I am not the best techy person, but I am going to try and upload all the pictures we took. So look for them soon!
I can't thank everyone enough again for all the constant support.

P.S. I plan on continuing private lessons, but they are now on a day-to-day basis depending on the weather.
