🌱 Learning Comes to Life at Riley Creek Farms! 🥬

We loved hosting a homeschool group at Riley Creek Farms this week!

Students learned how we transformed former commercial chicken houses into greenhouses and how we grow fresh lettuce using deep-water hydroponics, no soil needed! 🐔➡️🌱

We love sharing how agriculture, science, and innovation work together to grow food in new and exciting ways!

Thank you to this wonderful homeschool group for spending the day learning and growing with us. We loved having you!

We are SO excited to see our Riley Creek Farms name out and about as we make deliveries! We can’t wait for you to spot our trailer around the Wiregrass and know that fresh, locally grown lettuce is on the move. 🥬💚

A HUGE thank you to Steve and Wyatt at PressCraft in Ozark for doing such an awesome job on our trailer. We absolutely love how it turned out!

When you choose Riley Creek Farms lettuce, you know where it was grown, who grew it, and how it was handled. That’s the value of buying local.

We’re thankful to WDHN for highlighting the importance of supporting local farms and the role food safety plays in everything we do.

So much has happened in a year. Throwback to this Dothan Eagle feature from June 2025, when Dad sat down to talk about turning his chicken houses into greenhouses. So thankful for his story.

As he told the Dothan Eagle, “God’s hand has been in this. Every. Step. Of. The. Way.”
