JUST RELEASED CottageFoodieCon 2026 Events Schedule!!

With speakers/presenters from all over the country flying in from states like California, Florida, Missouri and of course right here in Minnesota, this is shaping up to be the premier hybrid conference dedicated to the cottage food community.

These speakers/presenters include CEO’s, Founders, Authors, TV/Radio personalities, Podcast Hosts, and Social Media Influencers. Combined they have social media communities of nearly 3 million followers!

Taking place in April 2026 at Hennepin Technical College (Eden Prairie, MN Campus) and online, will unite hundreds of cottage food entrepreneurs, educators, and enthusiasts from across the U.S. for three days of inspiration, education, and connection.

This year’s theme is "Turning Passion into Profit: Building a Thriving Cottage Food Business." Hosted by The Cottage Foodie and My Custom Bakes (LHE Bakes).

EXCITING NEWS for you to share with all your cottage food friends!!

The National Cottage Food Conference, CottageFoodieCon 2026, is going to happen!!

It will be hosted and sponsored by The Cottage Foodie and My Custom Bakes (LHE Bakes), as well as other sponsors to come. Also a shoutout to the Minnesota Registered Cottage Food Producers Association and David Crabill, host of The Forrager Podcast for their help in the planning process as well.

Still so much planning to happen, but here are the highlights so far:

• Dates: April 23rd - April 25th, 2026
• Location: Hennepin Technical College (Eden Prairie, MN Campus)
• It will be a hybrid model, meaning this will be an in-person event, as well as virtual too.
• Events happening throughout the conference; Keynote speakers, town hall panel Q/A discussions with industry leaders/experts, cottage food classes, hands-on workshops, evening happy hour with sponsors, vendor fair with cottage food product suppliers and sponsors, roundtable discussions with fellow cottage foodies, and more!
• There will be 2 "tracks" of classes. One track will have classes geared more towards brand new cottage foodies and the other track will be geared more towards those cottage foodies who've been doing it awhile.
• The classes will be cottage food business centered classes. Meaning no matter what product you make, these classes will be applicable. For example; Marketing, Branding, Social Media, Accounting, Food photography, etc.

As I mentioned there is still so much planning to happen, if you have any suggestions or thoughts on the conference, I'm all ears. Please email your ideas to [email protected], this is the easiest way for me to keep track of your ideas as we are planning.
