Missie, one of our Pygmys, is headed in for a C Section & a spay.

We’ve done it before, but the nerves never subside. There is AWAYS risk with animals going under & you have to be realistic with yourself as a Farmer/Rancher, even with the best of the best on your side, there are NEVER any guarantees.

Praying for the best outcome, but only hoping mom survives the surgery.

Had to rush one of our pygmies to have our 1st ever c section late last night. It was a long night. Mom is doing great! Unfortunately, the baby did not survive. I learned a lot. This is the side of farming that never gets easier to cope with.

We had mom fixed so she doesn’t have to go through the complication again & we can have a happy little goat.

I am so grateful for our vet that goes above & beyond! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

It’s 41 out but these sweet babies have no clue what cold is! For the first 4 weeks I want to retain every goat born, they are all SO CUTE!!!!
