What a day in Chickasha! Thanks to Ty Smith - Oklahoma AgCredit hosting an NLR learn and lunch. A group of land agents, rural lenders, and cattle ranchers did learn first - about crop insurance, 1031 exchanges, and DSTs. ALL smart business practices that can help out our clients! And THEN we “lunched”, on fantastic pies from Flower Shop Winery and Pizzeria Chickasha and dessert from Eileen’s Cookies Edmond. A good day!

From our youngest son, Will:

Well, you can’t win them all, folks. I set out from Oklahoma with dad for some elk hunting up near Salina, Utah. The days spent there produced beautiful views in every direction, and meaningful fellowship with dad. Elk are tough, fast, and stubborn beasts that are not easily caught. Especially with a bow. I am humbled as a lifelong hunter and while I didn’t harvest an animal, I have found a new appreciation for this kind of hunting. We’ll get one next year!
