Two week catchup.

Last week went to in Canton MA and a first-time festival - What a great venue and event!
Took part in the event for Chicken and Ribs to test out some things (Gotta put in the work!)
Chicken paid off with a second place and ribs were about 9th. Congrats to House of Monarchy on GC and Smoke Sisters on RGC.

Thanks for Mike from for organizing!

This weekend One Nine Jack and myself headed to one of our favorite events, the Kora Ride-In & BBQ Competition in Hiram ME.
Saturday we did Kids Que, Peoples Choice and one meat ribs, the remainder which went up for auction as the results were being called.
One Nine Jack put together a Blueberry/Chocolate/Bacon Muffin with Blueberry frosting and was happy with his 11th place out of 19.
Our people choice Texas Twinkies finished 2nd and the ribs came in 11th out of 39, and (along with some bribery) managed to make $400 for the charity.
Such a fun event for a great cause!

Sunday was onto KCBS and felt like a solid cook.
When the scores were tallied, we ended up (39 Teams):
