WELL… WE DID A THING.

We have been OVERWHELMINGLY blessed by the amount of orders you all placed for our 3rd AND FINAL meatbird round! (Limited quantities still available)

And while our lives are about to enter the beautiful chaos known as school, sports, farm life and “how is it already bedtime?!” … we thought:

What the heck. Let’s give the people what they want!

So with that being said…

WE ADDED A FOURTH ROUND!

That’s right our ACTUAL FINAL meatbird processing weekend will be October 17th–19th!

You guys asked… and apparently we don’t know how to say no.

So if you missed out on the previous rounds, THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE! Once this round is filled, that’s it for the season!

4 Cream Legbar/EE (2 years old) $20 each
2 Bearded EE (~1year just started laying) $35 each
1 Blacksex Link Roo (3 years old) $10 or free if he goes with some of the girls he’s currently with. He is beautiful and a fantastic boy to humans and his girls.

Our girls have been working overtime, and we’re officially overflowing with eggs! Our fridge is packed, and we’ve run out of room.

Right now we have:
• 26 dozen fresh, unwashed chicken eggs (all collected last week)
• 8 dozen duck eggs
• Plenty of washed chicken eggs available too!

If you’ve been meaning to stock up, now’s the perfect time! We’d really appreciate the help clearing out some space.

• Whole Chicken – $25 each (average 5 lbs)
• Boneless, Skinless Breasts – $8/lb (2 per pack; 4 per pack available upon request)
• Boneless, Skinless Thighs – $8/lb (4–6 per pack)
• Bone-In, Skin-On Thighs – $7/lb (4–6 per pack, available upon request)

🐥 BROODER SHED RESET! 🐥

After a month and a half break from raising babies, it’s time to get ready again! Our third and final batch of meat birds is shipping next week!

Processing weekend: September 18–20

With that comes a couple of important updates.

Due to the high demand for our chicken, we want to make sure as many of our supporters as possible have the opportunity to stock their freezers. Because of that, we will be placing a purchase limit per customer for this processing round. We appreciate your understanding as we do our best to make our chicken available to everyone.

We will also be announcing a small price adjustment over the next few days. We’ve worked hard to keep our prices as affordable as possible, but with the continued increase in chick and feed costs, we unfortunately have no choice but to raise our prices.

This wasn’t an easy decision. From day one, our goal has simply been to provide our friends, family, and community with high quality, farm raised poultry at a fair price. We truly appreciate your understanding and, most importantly, your continued support. It means more to us than you know.

The week of August 4, our Thanksgiving turkey poults will be arriving!

If you’d like to reserve a farm-fresh Thanksgiving turkey, we kindly ask for a $40 deposit, which will be applied toward the total cost of your bird. Turkeys are $6 per pound and will be ready for pickup on Tuesday, November 24.

One of the most rewarding parts of farm life is walking through the garden and seeing all of the hard work paying off. 💚🌱

Right now we’re harvesting fresh zucchini, cucumbers, and pickling cucumbers, while our peppers and hot peppers continue to grow. Our strawberries are flourishing, and our herbs have become absolutely massive this year!

A garden takes so much more than just planting. It takes daily watering, weeding, pruning, pest control, and constant attention to keep everything healthy and thriving. Some days it feels like there’s always something that needs to be done, but moments like this remind us that every bit of time and effort is worth it.

We feel incredibly blessed for another beautiful growing season and are so thankful for the abundance our garden is providing. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer brings! 🌞🥒🍓🌶️

Flock Reduction! Looking for Great Homes!🐔

We’re looking to slightly downsize our flock and have some wonderful birds available!

Cream Legbar Breeding Group – $100

* 1 established Cream Legbar rooster (approximately 3 years old)
* 4 hens: 2 Cream Legbars and 2 Easter Eggers (1–2 years old)

This is a fantastic little flock, and the hens are excellent, consistent layers. We’d really love for this group to stay together.

Additional Hens – $20 each

* 2 Black S*x Link hens
* 5 Jersey Giant hens

These girls are between 2½ and 3 years old and are still laying very consistently.

We also have a Black S*x Link rooster (about 3 years old) available. He is the sweetest boy and an incredible protector of his ladies.
