Yeah, if these three hadn’t been DNA sexed, I absolutely would have been fooled. 🤣 They are very feminine, fancy boys. 🥲 Three prime examples of how a “suspected pullet” isn’t always a pullet, and why investing a little more in a DNA-sexed pullet or a mature hen is probably the safer option. 😅

They are from my early/mid June hatches. The black mottled boy is a Sunrise Silkie breeding 🖤🤍

Happy Friday, everyone! 🥰 We’re finally having one of our first cooler days in a while, and it feels amazing! The chickens were feeling extra frisky this morning!

Named this stunner Dolly. 💖 She’s one of my favorite grow-outs, and I just felt the name suited her perfectly.

So sad to hear the news. Such an incredibly special person gone. The light she shined on this world will never be forgotten. Rest easy, sweet Dolly. You are deeply missed. 😓💗
