I have to give my heartfelt Thank You and congratulations to Nidia and the entire Sun Valley Pecan team!
Even with a very challenging set of circumstances this year for our annual SQF Food Safety audit. We still achieved the highest score in our history!
Only one very minor non-compliance!
In other words a 99%!
Many may not understand, but a perfect score in unheard of. It is a 2 day tooth pulling comprehensive inspection of both the facilities and food safety programs.
We have never been able to break a 98%.
I am so proud of our entire team.
Nidia managed to put our documentation together in just 3 short weeks. She made a lot of improvements and our score shows it.

On this Good Friday, our hearts are humbled as we reflect on the ultimate sacrifice made out of pure love - Jesus Christ laying down His life so that we might live.

It’s a day of deep sorrow, but also of hope. In His suffering, we find grace. In His silence, we find peace. And in His sacrifice, we find the greatest act of love the world has ever known.

May this sacred day lead us to pause, to pray, and to draw near to the One who gave everything for us. Wishing you a quiet and blessed Good Friday, full of reflection, faith, and gratitude.
