A touch of jealousy. That's how it started. A couple of years ago, I couldn't believe Springdale Public Library beat El Paso Public Library to getting Zeke Peña to design a library card. So, after many emails and meetings, I convinced our library system to get Zeke to design this year's limited edition library card for National Library Card Sign-up Month. We couldn't be prouder and more pleased with this library card. Thank you Zeke for capturing our city and library love! After many years of my squirrel card, I swapped it out. If you don't have a library card, what the heck are you waiting for?! A cool design like this one?!

I cant believe today is the last day of summer reading club El Paso Public Library . If you're seeing this today, go to elpasolibrary.beanstack.org & sign up! It may be the last day, but you can retroactively log any reading & activities you've done this summer to earn dino dollars to spend in the dino store & help get us to our 2 million minute community reading goal. Dino dollars can get you cool prizes like this dino nuggie enamel pin! It was so fun to have dinosaurs as our theme this year & great to see how hard our staff worked on this year's decorations & programs. Sad we're not going to meet our participation goal this year. I had all these great ideas & intentions to promote the program, but grants & the daily grind just kept it from happening. It was still a fantastic SRC!
