We’ve been some busy bees 🐝 over here at the funny farm.
•Buttercup 🐖 still hasn’t had her babies 😳 poor gal is so miserable. I checked her yesterday for milk (surprised she let me pull on her t***s) and nothing yet so we’ve got a little ways to go.
•We’ve been canning all things tomato- pasta sauce, ketchup, pizza sauce, tomato soup. I’m canned out and still have more to do 😅
•Unfortunately we lost one of our calves last night 😭 there is no more Frick 😢
•The big kids keep truckin along to help out with everything.
✨I am so thankful for this life but dang it I’m tired of all of the losses- all of my baby quail and the adults I had, I have 1 guinea left, 7 of my turkeys 😭 (that one was the hardest), the calf, the many chickens. I’m just heartbroken but you know what they say- if you have livestock then you’ve got deadstock

It’s been a busy summer so far and it’s technically not summer yet 😬
From spending time at the local pools, creeks and lakeside restaurants to taking care of all of the Funny Farm critters (HOPEFULLY HAVING 2 LITTERS OF BACON SEEDS IN JULY AND AUGUST!!!!)
Enjoying time with my little family. I have prayed for this life. The peace that comes with being unbothered is ✨phenomenal ✨

I love the beautiful varieties that I have. Currently have 5dz quail and 180 chicken eggs in the incubator. Excited to see what we get!
