Tannehill Swine Farm We are a small hog farm selling whole and half butcher hogs to local customers. All of our hogs are dirt raised and antibiotic free.

I have 2 going to butcher this week (spoken for) and 3 that will be ready in January. Looks like 2 in Feb. and 2 in March or April. Get your order in quick, they won't be around much longer.

Going out of business sale!!! Now until all inventory is gone, butcher hogs will sell for 85 cents a pound, live weight. This is a 15% savings over my my previous prices and a HUGE savings over what you'd pay in a grocery store. Only about 20 left and some ready to go right now!

After much deliberation, I've come to a decision. Tannehill Swine Farm will be suspending operations in the near future. I still have stock on hand and for some time, but I'm not adding any new inventory.
Between the neighbor's dog, high feed bills and other economic factors, I need to step back, pay off some bills and build up my liquid capital. I cannot accomplish this while still buying feed. Plus, I need a break. Tannehill Swine Farm has been largely a one-man operation but with some help from my hired hand. Still, I've not had a day off in over 6 years.
Once I'm rested up and financially fit, I'll get back into it-possibly with a different business model. Luckily, this second time around, I'll already have the equipment.

Just an FYI, I have hogs available for butcher year round. I have 8 in this present group not spoken for. Due to crop losses, naughty dogs and the fact that the gilts are just too purdy to butcher (saving them out for breeding) I will only have 3 in the next group (August/September). So if you're wanting a hog, you'd better act quick.
