To everyone new to kikis. While technically Kiki's are a mutt and not recognized breed. There is a standard among breeders and those seeking true Kiki's. Kiki's should be smaller than a standard Serama Hen. I tell people they basically resemble the size of a soda can. Below I have a pic of my Kiki flock with one of my seramas. She's bigger than my own kiki roos so that should tell you just how small our Kiki's can be ❤️. It's not easy and I'm still working on getting them smaller.
For those also that don't know much about them, Kiki's have the creeper Gene from the Japanese bantum. It's what makes them legs small and waddle like a penguin 🥰. With that said the creeper gene itself also causes a low hatch rate, lower than seramas or any other bantum. The Gene itself can be fatal.
Just wanted to explain a bit since we have had so many new followers. Thank you everyone ❤️😁
