Producing quality livestock to market is a big challenge as a result of escalating feed costs. Maker Bulls where the bulls are tested on the Grow Safe Individual Feed Consumption Measurement System. The test is ran on a high roughage diet, which allows for less fall off on the bulls when they are turned out than they would have if they were feed on a mostly grain ration.
