We got to Pastry Cat’s East Sac soft opening at 7:30am and there were only two people in line. That changed really quickly because by opening it was packed 😳 and honestly it makes sense!!

A few things to know 👇
There’s a 5 pastry limit per person but meals don’t have a limit. I tried the biscuit breakfast sandwich with beef and pork sausage and chimichurri 🤤 They also have matcha 🍵, coffee ☕️, and a lunch menu.

My favorites were the ham and cheese croissant and the hazelnut hojicha financier. The miso brown butter cookie 🍪 is also really good.

Soft opening is May 1 to May 3 from 8am to 1pm

Finally checked out .bohl’s first-ever location! 🥗 They just opened Friday in Elk Grove.

Everything looked so good I had no idea what to get, so I went with a signature bowl - Feta Late Than Neva (white rice, grilled chicken, cucumbers, tomatoes, pickled onions, kalamata olives, feta, tzatziki, spicy feta, hummus, green goddess).

Also had to add the sea salted pita chips ($2.85) !!! ty for putting us on because those + the hummus were 🔥

Build your own bowls start at $15.85 and come with unlimited toppings, which is kind of dangerous 👀

Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Elk Grove and looking for a healthy, fast spot to eat!
