Something AI can’t tell you is just exactly which farm produced most dairy and beef products in the grocery store.
But if you took a picture of something with a Darilane Farms label on it and asked AI to tell you who produced that food, you would see:
- A family farm in Elk, WA, just north of Spokane. - - Grandpas, grandmas, moms and kids working together to care for the animals and land to make delicious beef and dairy.
- 220 Holstein cows milked by robots on the cow’s schedule
- beef cows raised on alfalfa haylage

A throwback on Labor Day to life before robotic milkers.
It wasn’t always mom milking cows, but over the 3+ decades she’s been dairying, she’s spent a considerable amount of time in the parlor.
We sweat, shiver, bleed, bruise and say pretty words throughout the long days of farming. We love that the labor is never quite the same, but rewarding all the same.
Farming reminds us that there’s no job too menial, too unimportant. It takes someone writing checks and raking stalls. It takes someone wearing a repro glove and someone covered in grease up to their elbows. It takes band aids on boo boos and lunch in the tractor - and dinner after sunset.
Middle of the night phone calls and early morning shifts on the twinning rakes.
But we do it for the love of the land and the people we feed. ❤️

Labor Day weekend calls for steaks.
And we can absolutely guarantee these are American born and raised Angus beef. We fed them as calves and finished them out all on the same farm.

We have steaks, brisket, roasts, ground beef, bratwursts, bacon, breakfast sausage, locally raised eggs and more.
