The Hartman Family Showpigs Bid Board Auction is going digital!
You will be able to view the bid board by downloading the free Zoom app on your Android or iPhone, or by going to zoom.us on your PC. The stream will start at 9 am. Please contact us about getting a bidder number. You will text your bids to Mark (574-202-4707) or Brad (574-535-5115). If for some reason you are not seeing your bid get accounted for, please call one of us immediately. We ask for your patience during this process.
Timed bidding will start a 3 pm and stay open as long as there is activity. We will make it very clear as to when the board closes and give everyone a chance to make their final bids.
You will need these credentials to get into the "meeting" on Zoom.

We are finalizing the details of how it will all work but we are going to set up a Zoom video call. This will require you to download the app on your phone or visit the website on your PC. You'll need to get the meeting number and password from us. We will post that on here before the start of the auction on Saturday. Stay tuned for more details.

So with the travel ban we are going to be shaking it up a bit. We are thinking of a live feed to our bid board on Saturday. More details to come! Stay tuned as we work out the logistics of it.

Being in this business is all about fun for us. When you farrow a litter like this, it keeps you coming back to the barn. Imagine how much fun you will have with this guy in the end of your whip.

One of our favorite parts of raising show pigs is seeing the kids get involved. Our bid board style of selling allows the kids to be more involved, however this year will look a little different. We are asking for as many people to stay home as possible. You can make your bids on the day of the sale by arranging phone bids with Brad or Mark. If you must come, we ask you limit it to ONE person per family. If you have already viewed the pigs you probably have a good idea of what pigs you are after. This will make it easier to do you bidding over the phone. If you haven't seen them, give us a call and we can talk you through the pigs or work something out.

One of our favorites! Never Before x Cartel. This combination was awesome! Look at the spread up high and how he carries it all way down to the ground. This guy's momma is a proven dam, a grand champion herself and she keeps producing top notch offspring.

Big thanks to the 12 families who came out yesterday to view the pigs. We have one more opportunity this Saturday before our sale on the 28th. No need to make an appointment, just show up between 10am - 2pm.
One note that we haven't mentioned before, we are selling gilts on a first come, first served basis. We sold two yesterday, but there are plenty of high quality gilts left.

Hey All! It's been a minute but we wanted to update you on how this selling season is going to operate for us. We will have a sale, per usual, on March 28 at 3 pm, here at the farm. Something different is that we will offer an Open Barn on March 14 and 21. These will be from 10 am to 2 pm. These will be the only times that you can view our pigs before sale day, so please prioritize those days. Pictures will follow soon!
