I'm working on a new flavor of focaccia for the fall! Any guesses what flavor this is?

Reveal: Apple Cider focaccia, made with apple cider, fresh apples, pie spices, brown sugar, and butter. Hopefully we'll be ready to start offering this delicious fall focaccia in September!

Name that flower!

Reveal: It's Queen Anne's Lace, also known as wild carrot! This species has been introduced and naturalized in our area. Unlike an invasive species, naturalized species integrate themselves into their non-native ecosystem with little to no disruption to the organisms of the ecosystem.

Queen Anne's Lace is edible, but it is imperative that you get a proper ID on it before ever trying to consume it, as it looks a lot like its deadly cousin, poison hemlock! (If you ever identify poison hemlock, don't touch it with your bare skin and contact your county's extension site. Many counties attempt to track sightings of this deadly invasive w**d.)

Wanna get some work done, but stuck on bubble duty? Check out this 2-and-4-year-old-approved hack for avoiding excessive messes, while also having use of your hands!

We got these lawn cup holders from Menards (and saved BIG money while doing it). Then we put an open flat bottomed container of bubbles in it and let the kids do the rest. We did warn them that if they picked the bubble container up out of the cup holder, they would be done playing. It's been several hours and no excessive messes.

It's focaccia Friday, friends!

Don't forget to stop by our booth at the Elkhart Farmers Market tomorrow to snag your very own focaccia! We'll have plain and garlic rosemary focaccia available, as well as plenty of bread, bagels, and scones.

We'll be at Kardzhali Park from 9-1.
