Iv been a bit MIA for a while 😅 I actually sold off all my laying hens but for 3 so I could replace them with better quality birds. I'm still waiting for the newer pullets to start laying so there just hasn't been much to post lately.

I do want to put a warning out there that apparently a chainlink dog pen is not the best thing to keep geese in at night 🫠 One of the girls tried to "off" herself by sticking her head through and then somehow turning and sticking it back through a different hole. When I went to let them out that morning, it had started embedding into her neck. I had to cut a hole in the chain link to get her out. You can see her neck in the first pic. She also messed up her leg (I'm assuming while struggling to free herself). She is healing and getting better and better everyday though, thankfully. We will be building a more permanent solution for night housing as soon as possible.

But they're still gorgeous! 😍 And growing like crazy 😊

Finally getting around to sharing the surprise! 😅

We got 2 Sebastopol goslings!! 😍 I am SO in love with these babies!

We need name suggestions! The lighter one is a male, the grey is a female and I prefer something with a theme 😜 Any ideas? 😊
