This new mom is doing an amazing job raising her ducklings. If anyone has any guesses on the color of the ducklings please let me know. Dad is a blue pied and mom is a black pied, however I also have chocolate, blue, and buff hens that all lay in the same nest.

I had to process 20 rabbits today. It is always a hard day but today was especially hard. I was making amazing strides with my otters. At least I thought. Well it turns out I had some genetic issues and ended up having to cull that entire line. I am staring back with 2 bucks and 3 does. It Is always a learning process.

These are only 6 week olds but I feel like I am seeing consistent improvement. These are my favorite does so far from each litter body wise. Of course one is a fox and the other is a blue snowball 😭. But the third is my first black and the 4th is a blue so I’ll take it. Let’s see how these ladies grow.

I have had the question “do I sell pets?” The easy answer is yes but rarely. The only pets I sell are rabbits with stellar personalities. I may have 1 out of a handful of litters that I think would be an amazing pet. They also only go to homes that have done their research or are willing to learn. Rabbits are not purchase and forget it types of animals. They can be sensitive to many things and to stay friendly need regular handling. They do not like to be picked up as a whole. For the right person they can be incredible pets but they are not for everyone. I am always happy to educate to see if a rabbit is right for your family!
