Thank you to everyone that came out and supported at Oceanside NY Fire Department’s Parade and celebration 🚒👩🏼‍🚒!
While a sudden passing severe thunderstorm tried to take us out (if you know, you know), our entire team got soaked from head to toe, and our tent, along with multiple other vendor tents and equipment got destroyed. In the spirit of showing up for all of our first responders, we didn’t let that stop us! We took a moment to regroup, repair and restructure our original plan.
Eventually, the sun came back out shining and the weather was beautiful for the rest of the evening for the parade, concert and fireworks 🎆 which brought out a crowd of lots of hungry customers! We truly appreciate every person that ordered because it helps to support our growing family business. Everyone enjoyed having our brisket, ribs, pulled pork, sausage, mac & cheese and cornbread! 🔥
Safe to say this was a first experience that we will never forget, and we look forward to being back again next year! 🐝
