Just a quick news post, as of County Flair Creations’ last update, all available spots in today’s vintage Christmas tree glazing workshop are SOLD OUT. This is not a public event due to space limitations, so we are not open to the general public today—however, DoorDash will be live if anybody has a hankering for our food offerings via delivery. We’ll see everyone next Friday for regular taproom hours!

Just a preview of my personal “brewmaster’s contribution” to today’s Taproom Tailgate—Mexican Street Corn Pasta Salad! If you’re feeling sociable and up for some Colts football, come grab a drink and watch the season opener on the taproom big screen! Wanna pitch-in your favorite entree, appetizer, snack, or dessert? Even better, a tailgate wouldn’t be a tailgate without some good food! Bring some good stuff to share (or don’t, we know groceries be expensive out here!) and enjoy the game! We open around 12:30, last call in the fourth quarter as the game wraps—usually at or before 4pm!

If you’re inkling for locally crafted beer this evening, make sure you plan around Elwood’s homecoming parade, which will be taking place in front of the brewery around 4:30pm. That means parking will be at an even slimmer margin than usual, so plan accordingly—there are lots of spaces nearby, you just gotta be savvy!

What began as a simple experiment to see if our customers wanted a space in Elwood to watch the Colts play became some of our favorite memories at the taproom—and this Sunday from 12:30-4pm, we do it all again as we enter our third season of Taproom Tailgates.

Our pitch-in’s are legendary, but for the uninitiated…Taproom Tailgates are select Sundays when we open the taproom for a little bit of camaraderie, a little bit of Indianapolis Colts football on the big screen, and a whole lot of potluck style goodness. We encourage everyone to bring their favorite entrees, appetizers, desserts, snacks, etc. to share in the best way to watch football in the area.

Every now and then, we’ll find inspiration online from a brewery somewhere across the country that helps us improve upon our own events. Such is the case with the Pumpkin Chug from Resurgence Brewing (pic left). We know ROCKtoberfest is our fashionably late October bread and butter, but we love autumn just as much and there never seems to be enough of it to go around before the winter weather hits. So we’re putting on the f’ritz October 17 for Second Fiddle Saturday—a day bursting with pumpkin pomp and circumstance!

One year ago we debuted the “Hoggy Style” stone-fired pizza (top-pictured) during the Tipton Pork Festival, because why should Tipton get to have all the pork-related fun?! It has gone on to be one of our most popular recipes in-store and online. This year, we’re launching a new limited time offering for your Labor Day/Pork Festival weekend—the “Boss Hog” (bottom-pictured) is coming to the taproom this weekend only!

What is the Boss Hog? It’s a mega-loaded pizza boasting BBQ sauce, pizza cheese, mac & cheese, pulled pork, bacon, jalapeños, and crispy onions! Yeah, it’s gonna be a hefty one!
