We are planning breeding and getting those hogs bred for our up coming show pig season. We have cut down a lot of our sow due to our planned move next year but will still have some awesome show pigs for November, Dec and Jan litters. We are currently breeding Sarah's Champion Light purebred Chester Gilt to Chad Hill Durocs Boar Jack in the Box ( HillJack x EINS mother) for a Dec State Fair litter. We also have this gilts mother bred back the same way to Beast our Stone Cold son for end of Nov litter and our Brick House x Elly Chester Sow bred to Beast for beginning of Jan. We have our Sock our Berkshire sow Warhorse x Superfly sow bred to Mr Swag Mr Buffet x Oak for early Nov piglets. We have bred Spice our berk gilt Jaws x Warhorse to Mr wag( Mr Buffet x Oak) for an early Nov litter. Bred our hereford gilt Wafl x Billy to our new hereford boar Popeye Loof Next Move x Family Guy for an early Dec. littler. We also bred our Freeway lady our registered Duroc sow to Prism ( Uproar X Iconic) and our duroc gilt (Ultra Squared X Won't Stop) to All Inclusive ( Honey Moon X Challenger) both due beginning of Dec.

Cleo is delivering her first litter. She is a great mom laying down to nurse them. This litter is one I have been waiting for Mr wippel x swagger ( Mr buffet x oak). Already in love perfectly marked with little dimples on their butts. 12 in the litter 5 gilts , 7 boars.

Update the litters are looking great and the first time moms are so wonderful. Its nice to have gilts that we raised be great moms all that were born alive are still alive and looking good. We will have a great selection for the Sept fairs. Chesters whites, berk/ duroc crosses (little cheetas) and herefords. Here some photos of the litters.

Getting it done int two days. Two first time gilts laid down and delivered pigs. Both delivered nine and have 9 they are raising. Awesome job to both these gilts. Raised them both and proud of their great mothering abilities. Hereford had nine they are crossed with our Duroc Bull Rush son. Our Berkshire gilt surprised us and had a litter of duroc crosses as well. Surprise when they came out red and not black. They are nice piglets. Show lines even though they are crosses. The chester litter is doing great as well they are growing into little chunks. All the girls are in nursery pens out of the crates already. They are all great moms.

Little red pigs getting weaned yesterday. I had a little gilt that was complaining. Finally settled down and figured out they were not going to see mom again. This is a great bunch. I still have some available for the August fairs. Mostly will be barrows.

This newest chester litter is the bomb. I say that as first time mom has had some complications and these little buggers already took to the pan and are healthy and playing even the little runt. Mom is slowly recovering and should be back to feeding them full time in the next day or so. Here is a cute video.

First time chester gilt delivered 8 pigs on her own. Big b***d, tall fronted nice little Chester heads. Perfect for Sept fairs. Out of supreme champion boar by stone cold. Can be a registered litter if looking for a chester boar or gilt for replacement stock.

Another great litter born last night in the pouring wind and rain. First time gilt pushed all of them out without assistence until the last one, needed a little help. They are very stout will get birth weights today but thinking all 4.5 to 5 lbs.
