Midgardr Acres goat farm Miðgarðr Acres is home to many registered ABGA Boer goats for 6 years. we also have Lamanchas ADGA registered.

Vol Babe Boer Goats is finally producing babies 2014 birthing year was not the best for us as our Milker doe produced a Stillborn doeling and her mucus was green so we had no choice but to let her dry up immediately. We are hoping for a great 2014 breeding season and 2015 birthing season. We also have one Doeling on her way that is a boer doe so we hope to have her bred breeding season of 2015.

It has been a while since Ive posted anything I apologize. I got deworming and delousing done today. I'm so proud of Jasper he's been super skittish since he was born and today he took dewormer without me having to handle him. I'm so proud of him. He won't let me touch him yet though. He will be auction bound in spring. I may or may not decide to take ace with him as well. I love him he's a good boy but he refuses to come to the fence and be dewormed today however I will try and go out and get him dewormed manually by handling him lol if that doesn't work it may finalize spring auction plans for him as well.

Breeding plans are happening next month. Girls, Collette and Topaz, will be going in with Ace and Virdana will be 8 months old and she's at 85lbs so she's in the safe to breed criteria we will be breeding her to spade (topaz's boy that's cream tricolored) so we will have 2 50% boer/lamanchas expected if not a batch and 1 batch of 80% boers available in the spring. Praying for some girls out of the Topaz x Ace breeding this year but we will see. Can't wait.

The boys have began their weaning process. Topaz is overjoyed to have them seperated. Jasper (the red one) was being relentless with wanting milk and not taking no for an answer. Topaz was at her wits end. She is out gladly enjoying some peace and quiet for once in the big pasture. Jasper will be up for sale as soon as she's big enough. I may just take him to the auction as it's been a buck year and I'm sure everyone has bucks galore lol. So once he's a year and half old he'll be auction bound. However in the mean time if anyone wants him feel free to message me :)

His brother the pretty tiger dapple one is being retained for the time being as I'd like to grow topaz's lineage to 99% both boys are 80% and I may be willing to offer a trade a black traditional- black dapple-black spotted 85% or higher doe.

It's a good thing I'm not into showing haha. This goofy girl,who is doing good despite the younger kids showing her how to gain bad habits in escape ville, has parrot mouth haha.

I'm not one to toss a goat just because they have a deformity with hard work this can be bred out. sometimes deformities just happen she is just deemed not show correct but that's okay!!! We wanted a milker with good milk lines so starting with a small deformity with excellent milk lines is a plus in my book I will just be looking for a proper buck to breed her to via AI in about 3 years I may even think about purchasing a proper buck this next year since I do have my buck pen.

Topaz went into Labor as I was nursing a headache. Imagine My surprise when my mom said "hey! You have 2 kids on the ground!"my bottom was out the door! Will try and get some updated pictures here in a few hours.

Im proud to announce that the Ace x Topaz kids are both boys and doing well. I will not be retaining either.
Their tags are set at 5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣
Both boys will be registered at 80%.
Weathering will be in question at 1 month old. I may choose not to wether them but we will see not every buck is meant to stay a buck and it also depends on buyers if they have a buyer will choose if they want them as buck or wether. They will be available to leave farm at 2 months of weaning which will be August 3rd 2026.
