Step into the colorful world of natural dyeing with Heal Botanics Apothecary at Fox Point Farms. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the ancient art and science of creating vibrant plant-based color from flowers, bark, roots, seeds, kitchen scraps, and botanicals gathered from the earth. 🌎🌸

Together, we’ll learn the foundational techniques of natural dyeing, including scouring, mordanting, and the differences between cellulose and protein fibers. By the end of the workshop, you will have an understanding of how natural fibers interact with plant pigments and how to create lasting, beautiful color using traditional methods.

✨Please bring a freshly washed, in natural soap, white or light-colored natural fiber item you’d like to dye, such as cotton, linen, or bamboo fabric/clothing.✨

Natural fibers work best and will absorb the plant dyes beautifully.

Come prepared to get your hands messy, connect with color, and leave inspired by the endless possibilities that plants provide.🌱🌺

Led by Chef Joel Jordan, our new menu draws inspiration from diverse culinary traditions, farm-to-table practices, and ingredients harvested from our farm and sourced from trusted local partners. From thoughtfully sourced seafood and vibrant seasonal produce, to dishes designed to be shared, every plate reflects our commitment to flavor, craftsmanship, and connection.

Another Grateful Dead tribute band.
Ripple Effect exists to carry forward the spirit of the music first brought to life by the Grateful Dead and its extended family. These songs aren't fixed - they're alive. Each performance is a new unfolding, shaped by the moment, the musicians, and the energy in the room. With a rotating cast of players and an open, collaborative approach, Ripple Effect creates a shared journey where the music leads - and anything can happen⁠.

🎶 Double Knot (formerly known as Finnegan Blue)
Double Knot is fronted by lifelong musicians and multi-instrumentalist siblings, Anna Lee and Wili Fleming. The San Diego, CA-based singer/songwriters pull inspiration from their life journey of sneaking into Irish pubs, playing in marching band, discovering punk rock, and singing a little gospel music on Sundays. Double Knot plays a mix of original material with American standards, often showcasing their own interpretation of traditional folk pieces. The band has had several television appearances, public radio interviews, a San Diego Music Award nomination, and a successful touring schedule throughout North America.
