A good friend of ours is putting on this festival. Trying to break the record for the biggest map of America. If you are not doing anything and are around August 6-9 and need a cool family friendly event and love flowers it’s worth checking out. Schoolhouse Farms 1862

We now have the final design for our Sunflowers in Bloom festival from August 6-9, 2026. Highlights include:

- the largest map of America ever made at 80 acres
- 2 million sunflowers
- over 12 miles of trails
- transcontinental railroad route
- major rivers of Mississippi Watershed
- visible from 30,000 feet
- 1776 / 2026 are 250’ tall for perspective
