Market day is tomorrow, and we've got plenty of farm-raised favorites ready for your weekend cookout!

We're well stocked on everything right now, but our lamb supply is getting very low. We're not sure when we'll have more available once it's gone, so if lamb is on your list, now is the time to pick some up.

We're also looking forward to seeing what new products we can bring you once our pigs head to the processor. Stay tuned—there are some things to look forward to!

🌾 A little break between hay crops! 🌾

We weathered the storms this week without any issues, and we're thankful for that. Right now we're in between hay crops, which gives us a little time to catch up on some of the other jobs around the farm.

This week we've been working on firewood and tackling a few projects that tend to get pushed aside when we're busy making hay. There's always something that needs doing around here!

We also caught a few turkeys enjoying the hayfield. You never quite know what you'll see when you're working around the farm!

While we're taking care of things here at home, we're also getting ready for another Saturday at the Dubuque Farmers Market.

We'll have a full selection of our farm-raised products, with plenty of brats, pork chops, beef, eggs, and more.

We're getting very low on lamb, and we're not sure yet when we'll have more available once it's gone.

The hay is finished, the rain has freshened everything up, and we're ready for another Saturday at the Dubuque Farmers Market!

🌾 Hay is in the barn... now we're thankful for the rain! 🌾

After a couple of equipment breakdowns along the way, we're happy to say third crop hay is finally finished! It's always a relief to get the hay put up, especially before the weather changes.

Speaking of weather, we sure got plenty of it this week—over 5 inches of rain! Along with the rain has come a few mornings that are starting to feel a little like fall. Summer isn't over yet, but it's a nice reminder that the seasons are always changing on the farm.

🏡 Home again, and back to farm life! 🏡

After spending some time away making memories together as a family at Niagara Falls, we're back home—and the farm didn't waste any time reminding us there was work to do!

This week it's right back into the routine of caring for the animals, getting started on third crop hay, and preparing for another Saturday at the Dubuque Farmers Market. Time away is always appreciated, but there's something special about coming home to the farm.
