Nestled on 725 beautifully landscaped acres, the hilltop Behrend campus offers spectacular views of Lake Erie and the surrounding community. The original buildings, donated by the Behrend family, have been preserved to maintain the look of a family estate, while more modern architecture allows for state-of-the-art facilities and services. Each residence hall is named after a commander or ship involved in the Battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812. There are great places to eat on campus, all conveniently located near the residence areas. All food is prepared by our professional staff and is available for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late evening snacks. Dobbins Dining, a full-scale all-you-care-to-eat food court offers grilled specialties, fresh pasta, soups, a wok station, hearty entrées, a large salad bar, and daily specials. Bruno’s Café, located in the Reed Union Building, offers á la carte meals, light snacks, pizza, grill items, and convenient grab 'n go items. The Clark Café, located in REDC, offers sandwiches, salads, and refreshing beverages.
