Sometimes cookies are so much more than cookies. 🤍
I had the honor of creating these Raising Parents logo cookies for September’s Moms Meetup, and this order felt especially meaningful to me.
I’m so thankful for Maha and for the community she has created at Raising Parents. Motherhood, especially postpartum, can feel incredibly lonely, and walking into a space where I feel understood, heard, and seen has meant more to me than I can put into words. Raising Parents has encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone, connect with other moms, and reminded me that I’m not alone in so many of the things that come with motherhood.
And there’s another part of this that I really love: getting to connect with another small business owner. 🤍
Building a small business is not easy. From the outside, you might just see the finished product. In my case, a pretty box of custom cookies. But there is so much happening behind the scenes. The emotions, late nights, self-doubt, excitement, and all the work that goes into turning something you care deeply about into a dream.
That makes it even more special to meet someone like Maha, learn the heart behind her business, and then get to create something for the community she dreamed of building.
So grateful that a box of cookies brought two small businesses together, and even more grateful to have found another little piece of my village here in Colorado. 🩵
