It seems like the construction never ends! Son took some time off from building their house to help me get our mudroom addition going. Today we took off the existing metal siding and carport ceiling. Next up - framing!

It’s frosty this morning here at Little Crick! We hope all y’all enjoyed your Thanksgiving yesterday as much as we did. One of our holiday goals is to put as much on the table as we can that we grew ourselves or purchased bulk and preserved. This year: sweet potatoes and green beans we grew, deviled eggs from the ladies down at the coop, Fussell Farms sweet corn, homemade pumpkin puree, and apple pie filling. Stay tuned for next year!
Me personally (Nana), I’m grateful ☺️ for the opportunities that living here gives me; my family close, good clean food, beautiful surroundings, and reboot to a simpler way of living.
