When your bees decide to “bring it on” 2 days before surgery - I’ve convinced my husband to put more frames together so I can get them in the hives tomorrow! Always expect the unexpected with the hives.

I plant sunflowers every year and encourage everyone to do so. Easiest plant to grow and bees absolutely go nuts over them! These little ladies are covered in pollen! I harvest seeds and replant every year and I always have extra if you need some - let me know, and I’ll give you some.

The sun is shinning for the moment but with the anticipated rain and storms for the remainder of the day we have decided to CLOSE today. We will be OPEN next week and should be harvesting sweet corn, green beans and so much more. See you then.

A much needed couple days away. So blessed to get to spend it with my boy! Now it’s back to business, summer scents are fully stocked and ready for your order.
