HOW TO CLEAN AND TAKE CARE OF JEWELRY: For large quantity jewelry cleaning, use a pie pan. Place your jewelry in the pie tin. Add salt and slowly pouir enough boiling water over it to cover jewelry. Then watch the magic happen. Oxidation disappears almost instantly. I add dish soap and swirl the water a little bit. I don't want to see the bubbles because I want to watch the magic. That's why I add it after I pour the water. If you have heavily oxidized jewelry, use a toothbrush with a little toothpaste dipped in baking soda. That will remove dirt and debris. This works well with rings and gemstones.
