In honor of National Dog Day - this is Jules! She’s my constant companion in the garden, #1 whole digger and could teach masterclasses in zoomies & fence jumping. Sweet, energetic, goofy and a bit of chaos that I couldn’t live without!

New dahlias greeting me everyday. My field is still only about 25% in bloom. Everything in its own time.

This season has been rough in MANY ways, personally and in the garden. The transition of today’s eclipse and the energy it brings is encouraging us all to let go what no longer serves us. Take a minute to honor you today! 😊

KA’s Rose Quartz (2026 release) by Kristine Albrecht - Dahlias

The first round of blooms on this dahlia had very little back petal color (more like the front bloom). I’m happy to see her coming around! This has been a weird summer with lots of temperature waves - which I’m sure are playing into the color differential I’m seeing in so many of my dahlias!

This is a 45 mile bouquet - all of these flowers were grown within that distance! While much of the time what you see I grow myself, I also source from numerous other local flower farms. It’s easy thanks to the weekly Wednesday SnoCo. Flower Collective market - open for wholesale & retail customers in downtown Snohomish. This is a big part of what being a sustainable florist is about- using what is in season.

Today marks the debut of the new flower cart (a potting station). All tubers are $3(mystery), $5 or $10 sprouted up and ready to plant! With deals this good you know you have room for one more! 😉 Inventory will change weekly as I plant out myself! Stand will be open 10-6 Saturday & Sunday for the next 2 weeks. After that, we will see what’s left! Let me know if you are interested in seeing flower starts on the stand as well.
