Thank you all for your kind words, shares, and offers to buy eggs, chicks, and hens 💚💙🩷. We will be downsizing and reorganizing over the next few weeks to help better align with our original plans. We also plan to hold true to providing healthy, hearty, and beautiful birds that also lay beautiful eggs!

Now for the uncensored me. Life is kicking my a$$. I wish I was joking but your girl is defeated. Due to the lack of egg sales and no one wanting to buys chicks/grow-outs we will have to take a hard look at our plans. And to be completely honest, that may mean selling the birds that we have spent THOUSANDS to raise for dollars.

If there are birds in my flock that you have had your eye on, let me know.

We aren't done... but we can't keep doing this 😞.

Final count! 190!

Baseball season and life in general have been kicking our butts!

We collect eggs daily. Like it drives me crazy to not get them no matter how the day is going or what time it is. We just don't always get the chance to package them as soon as we collect 😅 BUT they are atleast collected!

5 days worth of eggs below. Any guesses on how many?!?!

*Winner gets to choose between a dozen hatching eggs, 2 dozen eating eggs, or 4 Maran Rock chicks!

*Virginia residents only since we are still working on NPIP/AI Certification. Hatching eggs can be SLW, Black Sexlinks, or Hens Choice*

We went to south GA at the beginning of April to spend Spring Break with family. I obviously, I couldn't resist taking hatching eggs along for the 12hr ride... Looks like it was worth it!

Melanie Bertsch got a hens choice for color egg layers. Araucana, our own Blue River Belles, 2 different Olive Egger crosses, and a couple of our Maran Rocks 🥰. So excited to see how these babies grow out!

Maran Rocks: Mystic Maran/BCM cross =Hybrid, hearty, and prolific dark egg layer. This weeks babies are black with white bellies and black/white leg feathers 😍!

Egg production is in full swing here! 26 dozen eggs in a week!

Adding Blue River Belles, Silver Laced Wyandotte, and Maran's Choice to incubators tomorrow.

We have Easter Egger/Olive Eggers pullets & roos, Americana pullets, and 2 chocolate orpington roos that just moved outside and are looking for new homes.

We still have Zombie/BYM, and Black Sexlink 3wk old chicks available!

Our own Maran's Choice and Araucana's from Tradewater Chickens hatching this weekend!
