We moved some 6 week Buff and Chocolate Orpington chicks out with the remaining ISA Browns. The ISAs look like giants at 15 weeks.

I wouldn't mix in such young chicks if the ISAs weren't so very docile.

We have 52 ISA Brown pullets, currently 14 weeks old. 40 are reserved and 12 are available for purchase. $30 each for these champion egg layers. You can expect 300 to 350 eggs per year, starting around 18-20 weeks of age!

They say nature abhors a vaccuum. Well, chicken farmers abhor an empty brooder during chick season! We've got guinea keets in one brooder and now a new batch of pullets in the other. Lots of color variation this time - we'll see what we get!

Felicity hatched out 3 guinea keets this week. ❤️

Meet Cerbergoose! Goslings are way nicer than I expected. Like friendly, nibbly, slightly damp stuffed animals. So squishy!

These will be a triad of Sebastopol geese. Can't wait to see their ridiculous fluffy feathers!
