We are just days away from Fairport’s first Restaurant Week and people are asking, “What is Fairport Restaurant Week?”

Restaurant Week is your chance to revisit an old favorite or discover something new. Restaurants may offer either price fixe menus, new menu items, or food and drink specials. With over 30 restaurants participating and options ranging from casual and family friendly to upscale cuisine, there’s choices for everyone. If eating out is not your thing, Restaurant Week at Home, offered by both Skip’s Meat Market and Red Bird Market, brings you meal kits and ideas for you to take and make at home.

There is no need to sign up or any additional cost for this event. In fact, some restaurants may be offering deals that are even better than their regular menu prices. However, in certain rare cases, you may need to make a reservation or the specials may be available only at certain times of the day. It’s on a case by case basis. You can find out more specifics by looking at the menus. If there are restrictions in time or reservations required, I have typed that at the bottom.

Restaurants are located in the Village of Fairport, Town of Perinton, Egypt, and Bushnell’s Basin. A list of all participating restaurants is found on the graphic below.

Menus galore!

One of our sponsors is Great American Wing Company and you’ll see their menu on the dark blue background. Great American Wing Company is located at the Rochester Ice Center. This brand new eatery has wings, burgers, pizza - all fun, casual food plus a cookie skillet topped with vanilla ice cream for dessert. And while three rinks host hockey games and open skating sessions, anyone can come in and enjoy the restaurant (even without skates)!
