Found the queen about 8pm. I love doing this but sometimes I have to talk myself through the middle part when I feel overwhelmed and it seems like a big mess.

Sully is still not accepting her lamb since Thursday night. I'm putting her on the milk stand to let baby nurse every few hours.
I did realize yesterday that she had just passed her placenta Sunday afternoon. I thought vet would have taken out during csection. But I guess not. So retained placenta wasn't helping either. Still trying. I don't need a bottle baby right now.

Its been a rough day. Sully didn't progress. I gloved up and went in and her cervix was just barely reachable and closed. Finally realized it was a vet emergency now. They did a c section. Lamb was breech and was lucky to still be alive.
Vet brought the little ewe out to me immediately so I could dry her off. So kind of them. But probably because I cried. What a day.

I had a swarmy situation in one of my hives yesterday. Did a quick split. Did not find the original queen I saw last week. 🤷
I brought back an uncapped queen cell. The boys got a close up! Hands on is the most fun!
