🍬🎃 GREENWAY DOWNS, WE NEED YOUR TREATS! 👻🐾

The Kids Halloween Parade & Pet Parade are coming up on Saturday, October 24, and we need your help to make them extra sweet!

🍭 DONATE CANDY: Pick up an extra bag (or two!) on your next grocery run and drop it off at *2910 Summerfield by October 19.*

🙋 VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME: Have an hour to spare? We’d love an extra set of hands to help make the parades fun for everyone!

Every bag of candy and every helping hand makes a difference. Let’s make Halloween a little sweeter for our Greenway Downs and JV families!

To volunteer, email [email protected], and we’ll connect you with the organizers.

Please share the Halloween spirit-- candy donations are needed by Monday! 🎃

This Wednesday! Route 29 Active Transportation Study – Public Meeting

Fairfax County is inviting community members to review the preferred improvements for Route 29! Part of the area of study is within Greenway Downs, so we hope many neighbors can attend. Come learn about the proposed improvements and share your thoughts before the final recommendations are developed.

📅 Wednesday, October 14
🕖 7:00 p.m. (presentation begins around 7:30 p.m.)
📍 Timber Lane Elementary School Cafeteria
2737 West Street, Falls Church

Your feedback can help shape the future of walking and biking along Route 29!
