This is the flight of “Blue Harry” (name given to herons by one of our foster children a few years ago). These picts make me smile thinking about the children we have had the privilege to love and serve.

One of the take-aways of being a foster parent I had to recognize is that I am no one’s savior. God loves these children more than I ever could, and as they transitioned back to families, I would trust in the Almighty’s unshakable hands to hold them.

I love these little reminders to pray and trust.
