Each growing season, our farmers face countless trials and tribulations, from pests to droughts. Last year’s growing season, with severe late frosts and flooding, was one of the most challenging yet, especially for our fruit growers. ⁠

Thankfully, this growing season has rebounded, being one of the most fruitful (literally) in years. We went peach picking at Butternut Farm in Farmington to see it for ourselves— peach trees brimming with freshly ripe fruit.⁠
