Yesterday let the baby's enjoy some grass while I cleaned their brooding area. They loved snacking after they figured out they could! 😂 They'll be ready to go out to the main coop soon I think, I just don't want to rush it with silkies! But I'll start introducing them to the flock soon

Bug has officially been fired from motherhood. She hatched 5 chicks out yesterday, and was on them this morning. But then abandoned them to be cold and alone to steal the other broody chicken's eggs 🙄
A rush of 5 babies inside under warmth fixed them up though! This specific one I figured it was too late for since she looked nearly dead. Welcome back little fluff ball! Suck a great recovery.
Bug has denied her accusations and has no comment about her abilities.

Hi! I've just started up a homestead page since I've been thinking of selling serama chicks. That and I thought it would be the best place to show off my feather babies and anything else fun that I do that's homestead related!
My logo (which I hope everyone likes!) is inspired by my first serama hen, and favorite girl, "Sugar" who is no longer with us and that I miss. She's the last photo posted. I hope you enjoy a peek at my serama flock!
