Hey y’all!
Just wanted to take a moment and reintroduce myself as I’ve gained a few new followers. (And I thank each of you for the love and support from the bottom of my heart! I couldn’t do what I do without y’all.)

My name is Alicen Hogge. A pastry chef from Raleigh, NC relocated to Fayetteville, NC for the love of my life and husband, Thomas. I’m a mother of one wild and crazy little girl that the Lord saw fit to bless (surprise) me with after accepting the fact that I probably wouldn’t get the chance to be a mother in this lifetime. Every day with her is the greatest blessing on this Earth.

I attended The Chef’s Academy to earn a degree in Pastry Arts, graduated among the top of my class in 2016. I’ve worked in many different kitchens and have learned many different techniques to provide my clients to the best of my abilities. There is no challenge I am unwilling to take on.

I grew up baking and cooking alongside my parents in my childhood home, my love for food runs as deep as my love for my family. My love language is baking and cooking for those I cherish.

It’s my extreme pleasure to bring your baked goods and cakes to life for your celebrations and events. I put my heart and soul into everything I produce for my clients. I think it’s important in young peoples lives to have positive role models. I personally had many that I loved dearly for various reasons. One of the most important role models of my life has been my Granny, Alice Murphy. She told anyone and everyone as often as she could that I was her namesake.
My Granny had quite a few passions in life, one being cooking and baking. I have many fond memories of being in her kitchen or kitchen at my parent’s house.
She also had the best green thumb, she had many many flowers, gardens and even used to enter her homemade jams and jellies into the NC State Fair from things she grew. She was pretty good at it too, as she brought home a few ribbons of various colors.
She would have been 87 in July, I’m grateful for all the years I had with her. She will be missed greatly, my family and I take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. “She’s an angel now” as Hailee so sweetly stated yesterday after I figured out how to explain the situation to a toddler. We love you GiGi. ❤️😢
