As we continue to strengthen the local economy here in Northwest Arkansas, we’re excited to shine a spotlight on some of our incredible local partners! Stay tuned as we highlight the people and businesses that make our community so special. 🎉

Today we are featuring Boston Bread Co. from Bella Vista! ✨

Boston Bread Co. is an artisan sourdough microbakery serving Northwest Arkansas started by Norah!

Here’s a bit about Boston Bread Co. from Norah,
“I started baking sourdough out of a desire for self-sufficiency, sustainability, and a love for clean, healthy homemade food. For me, making your own bread is an ancestral practice—it signifies love, care, and warmth. Being able to share that with the community has been the most rewarding part of this journey.
The Boston Bread Co. began as a spark of inspiration, starting with selling freshly milled flour. Over time, it has grown into a local micro-bakery, not only providing bread and treats to direct customers twice a month, but also collaborating with local businesses and coffee shops to bring our sourdough and baked goods to more tables—and spread a little warmth along the way.

My dehydrated sourdough starter is the next step in making this craft accessible to more people. Each batch is carefully cultivated, fed daily with organic flour, and packaged with care. For me, it’s like sharing a bit of the heart of my bakery—giving people the tools to start their own sourdough journeys at home.”

We are so excited to be carrying Boston Bread Co.’s Traditional Dehydrated Sourdough Starter! If you have wanted to start making your own Sourdough products, this is a great way to get started! You can find this amazing product in our baking aisle next to the yeast!

Today, our local partner is Amelia Creamery from Oklahoma! ✨

Here’s a bit from Amelia Creamery:

“We use our own family recipes that have been handed down for generations along with premium ingredients and precise methods making French style yogurt the standard worldwide.

Traveling throughout Europe for many years, we fell in love with French Yogurt. This yogurt is very similar to what our European grandmothers used to make at home when we were kids.

Visiting small artisanal creameries in France, we learned the ancient technique of producing the world’s best yogurt. We then began making it for our own consumption, using only fresh whole milk from small local dairies, pro-biotic bacteria, natural fruits, raw sugar from sugar cane and high-quality honey. The result is a light creamy indulgence without the acidic taste of commercial yogurt.

That’s how Amelia Creamery was born. Named after our first granddaughter, Amelia, set out to create the most indulgent French yogurt in the US.
Our yogurt is 100% Natural; no preservatives, no antibiotics & no hormones. We strive only for the best and purest flavors in our yogurt. So, the sugar we use in our fruit flavored yogurts, is raw sugar made of natural sugar cane.

We get asked all the time, “why do you use clay jars for your yogurt?”. There are many reasons. First, it’s better for the yogurt. Clay jars affect the taste and texture of the yogurt less than any other container. They keep the yogurt light safe in order to protect the live bacteria and maintain freshness longer. Secondly, it’s better for the environment. Clay jars are reusable, and infinitely recyclable. Third, it’s been tradition. For centuries, Europeans have used ceramics to store food.”

Today, our local partner is Zelli Pasta from Springdale! ✨🍝

Zelli Pasta is a small, family run artisanal pasta shop right here in Northwest Arkansas. They craft their pasta using organic durum semolina wheat grown and milled in North America, ensuring top quality ingredients from the start. Each batch is extruded through traditional Italian bronze dies, creating that beautiful, textured surface that holds sauce perfectly. Their pasta is slowly dried at low temperatures for 18–20 hours, a method that preserves the wheat’s natural flavor and nutrients while giving the pasta incredible structure and bite. Zelli believes in quality over quantity, and you can see and taste the difference in every box. They mill their organic grains fresh to order and make, package, and label each box in-house with care.

Whether you’re whipping up a homemade marinara or building the ultimate pasta salad (we highly recommend their Radiatore for that!), Zelli has the perfect pasta shape for every dish. You can find their pasta on our grocery shelves as well as select varieties in our bulk department!
