Mother Hens Pit StopSavor: Finding the Essential Ingredient
Time stands still when you truly savor something.
And savor - it has two meanings.
To taste - and to enjoy.
We live in a world that rushes everything fast food, fast decisions, fast healing. But the truth is, the most meaningful things in life were never meant to be rushed.
To cook
To share
To give
Those things require time, Presence, and Intention.
Cooking, in its purest form, is more than just putting ingredients together. It’s about taking what you’ve been given recipes passed down, lessons learned, even mistakes made and transforming them. Adjusting them. Breaking them apart until you discover what really matters.
The essential ingredient.
And here’s the truth.
That ingredient is never the same.
What makes one dish unforgettable might not work in another. And what makes one person whole won’t look like anyone else’s journey.
Because just like recipes.
We are all different.
We’ve all been given different ingredients different backgrounds, different struggles, different blessings. Some of us were handed full kitchens; and some of us had to learn how to create something beautiful with almost nothing.
But the power is in the transformation.
In the willingness to take what you have and turn it into something meaningful.
That’s what makes us special.
The process of figuring out what matters most what stays and what needs to be let go isn’t just about cooking.
It’s about becoming.
Becoming who you were always meant to be.
Because when you finally discover your essential ingredient…
you stop comparing your life to someone else’s recipe.
And you start savoring your own.
Thank you,
