🦋 INTERNATIONAL WAVE OF LIGHT 🦋

Tonight, Rachel’s Sweet Creations invites our community to join families around the world in the International Wave of Light, honoring the precious babies who are gone too soon.

At 7:00 PM local time, light a candle and let it burn for 1 hour in memory of a baby you love and hold forever in your heart. 🕯️

Whether your loss was yesterday or decades ago, whether you share your baby's name or hold it quietly in your heart, please know that your baby matters, your grief matters, and your love will always matter.

Tonight, we remember the little ones who changed our lives forever. We stand with the parents, siblings, grandparents, and families who carry their love every single day.

This evening is deeply personal to me as I honor my own sweet son, James Kenneth, who was stillborn 10 years ago. He will always be a part of me, and his memory will always have a place in my heart.

As we prepare to open our Bakery & Cafe this November, I want Rachel’s Sweet Creations to be more than a place for sweet treats and coffee. I hope it will be a place built on love, compassion, connection, and community.

Please join us tonight at 7:00 PM by lighting a candle for a baby gone too soon. 🕯️

Some very special cookies headed off to A Time for Remembrance 🎗️🤍 An annual event hosted by Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Organization of the Sierras - PILSOS to honor and remember all the precious babies gone too soon.

As the owner of Rachel’s Sweet Creations here in Fernley, it’s an honor to donate cookies to this meaningful event each year. This year, I made sugar cookies inspired by the pregnancy and infant loss awareness ribbon. 🎗️

This event holds such a special place in our hearts. This year marks our 10th year attending in honor of our sweet James. 👼🤍

Stillborn but Still Born. He was here, he was loved, and he will forever be our son. His life matters, and his memory will always be a part of our story.

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, and today is an opportunity to come together to remember, honor, and celebrate the babies who will forever hold a place in our hearts.
