Early this morning the seller of the property emailed neighbors to say that my rights on the property have been terminated, and I want to ensure that you all know that that is not true as she knows fully well.

We are in Superior Court. It will most likely be a long time before this is resolved. If you're curious about the case, let me know -- I'd be very glad to have neighbors join us in court to watch and see for themselves.

Yesterday we had a painstaking group field trip around the property and house to match up our statements about the physical reality around us and why they are different. I still couldn't tell ya why they are different. We visually observed the door in the house that separates barns 1 and 2. We observed that my heat has been disabled and it's well after September 15, and that her trash is still rotting in the mudroom, despite board of health involvement. We met my sheep who are grazing and observed how quickly they're burning through the recently mowed without permission pastures. We somehow still fail to agree that birds graze. I dunno. It feels like living in a TV show.

I continue to hold all of my rights to the property that I ever had, and I'm sorry if she's bothering you.

The seller of the property consistently insists that birds don't graze. What do we think this animal is doin' exactly? 🤔

I'm so tired by the fact that the observable reality directly in front of our eyes is not something we can agree on.

(Snark aside, for anyone who doesn't know this, many birds graze! The geese are actually the main grazers but the muscovies and chickens and turkeys all do a good bit too. The other ducks do less.)

Hiya neighbors! I have just seen againnnn that a frequently wrong but persistently self-certain member of the city has posted some more incorrect information. It's not a surprise, but it is extremely frustrating.

What she posted was the seller's wildly inaccurate complaint about our tenancy, which includes among many things such insane fabrications as the concept that we are growing an illegal amount of cannabis -- we grow NO cannabis, this is a commercial farm of produce and livestock. Many, many people including members of our city government, the Fitchburg police department on many occasions (with bodycam documentation, at that), a local reporter, representatives from MDAR and a local land trust, and of course our farm volunteers, neighbors, and friends have been up to the property throughout the season and conflict and can easily confirm this, and will do so in court. Court will be very long. One such court day is tomorrow, if anyone may like to join and see the actual facts in Worcester.

Another incorrect piece of information she shared is that she thinks we are unrepresented due to *the seller's attorney* filing paperwork that didn't include our counsel. The farm is represented by a great firm in the civil matters, in Worcester Superior Court and will also do so in any other court that ends up being a part of this mess.

It is very difficult to maintain appropriate levels of public comment during an active problem, but I would recommend that if anyone is interested in their opinions being informed by actual facts, *ask for evidence* or go watch in court. Anyone can write affidavits and complaints that say any outlandish and untrue things, and the evidentiary requirement for filing it is nothing. There will be a review of evidence in court, but that will not be completed for some time now. It will be telling!

Please feel very free to correct misinformation out in the world when you see it.

Also: Town conspiracy theorist, would you like a tour of the farm? You'd have to unblock me first for me to have any way of coordinating that but I would love for your opinions to be more grounded in reality if you're going to keep sharing them. The farm isn't open to the public and no one may trespass unescorted for human and livestock safety, but I will gladly bring you around to look if the things that you are confidently publicly sharing are true or false. I would hope that you would then update your statements to be in line with the observable reality.

It has been so nice getting to spend several days up here safe, sound, and experiencing quiet enjoyment. I can't wait until this has become the normal standard again, hopefully by the spring.

Clickbait title aside, the answer is soil health -- not sure that anyone is surprised to hear that! This happens to be a study from the UK but it's true across much of the world: "Advancements" in how we grow food that have increased quantity have hugely depleted our soils and caused us to be majorly deficient in many vital nutrients, as a population.

> Sian Ferguson, Trust Executive at The Mark Leonard Trust said: "Healthy soil is the foundation of healthy food. This report shows that rebuilding soil health is one of the few measures that can improve nutrient density, yields and climate resilience all at once, and farmers can do it profitably today.”

This is a core principle of our land management and growing methodology!

The statement "you are what you eat" is both a trite overused phrase and also very literally true. It's hard to prioritize everything that's important in our challenging modern lives, but food is a big one.

Grow some of your own food if it's safe and possible for you to do so (test the soil for lead first if you're considering growing near a house or where a house used to be for sure). Buy locally from a farm you trust when possible, and ask your farmers about how they build and maintain soil health. Advocate for prioritization of conservation funds to include farmland with healthy soils. Advocate against developers buying up farmland in your neighborhood (and mine, please!).

This isn't a problem that we buy our way out of.

We had a light frost here the other night, but protected our nightshades and even things we didn't protect seem pretty good -- the okra is still producing and looks even a little cooler from the frost kiss. Okra flowers are next level pretty.
